R51 XP installation "disc"

#1 Post by seaweedsl » Sat Feb 02, 2008 2:57 pm

Hi guys. I need to reinstall windows on my R51 2888-CTO.

I have a good XP, but would prefer to install one that is correct for the COA and has the proper drivers to start with, albeit old ones.

Even better if SP2 or 3 is slipstreamed in.

Can anybody point me to some ISOs I might download?

Thanks,
Steve

When you activate XP it gives you the opportunity to change the serial number to the correct one. You can use nLite to slipstream the service pack or other things as well.

Thanks, I can do that with my generic retail XP, but I would like the XP pro set that IBM ships (shipped) out with these (on request). OR, as I said, an SP2 version...

I know that they are around, appreciate it if somebody could point me.

Thanks,
Steve
