How to clean the exterior of a Thinkpad?

What should I use to clean it (the cover of the monitor)?

The material seems so fragile that I'm afraid I'll damage something...

I use good ol dishsoap on a small damp sponge. It lifts hand oils from the palmrest, restores the lid, removes smudges off the screen, and cleans the keyboard of oils and dirt. It's not harsh nor leaves a residue if wiped off well. Key is using a small *damp* sponge, well wrung and one or two drops of dishsoap. Realy restores rubberized finish to mint condition.
