I cloned my original drive to the new wd 320 and plugged it in. It works to some extent but I cannot boot from it.
At boot I do not get my usual boot menu, but instead the cursor simply blinks. I do not believe that the boot process even begins.
However, if I boot from cd, like the windows xp install disc, the hd is detected and I can begin the install process but still not boot.
If anyone has any ideas on this, let me know.
Specs are: T60p 2007-8DG, Bios Ver. 2.20
