Motion not fluent when playing DVD movies on T21

When playing DVDs on my T21 the motion is not fluent but somehow stagnant at times. The quality is still acceptable but it gets annyoing after some time.

My system:

• T21 with 800 Mhz CPU

• Radeon 7000 ATI 64 MB in PCI slot of the docking station (2631)

• 384 MB RAM

• 8x DVD

• Windows 2000 Prof.

• Cyberling PowerDVD 5

Firewall (ZoneLabs) and antivirus (Free Antivir) are disabled. Hardware acceleration in PowerDVD is enabled.

I watch the movie on a TV with 1024x768 with 32-bit color.

The system should be sufficient to meet the neccessary hardware requirements for a good motion picture.

Has anyone got an idea what could be the reason for this?
