issues with lenovo spare hds?

we use T61/p's and purchase lenovo hd as a spare for cloning. recently we have 42T1497 5400 120gb hitachi and 42T1484 72000 100gb drives. the first clone worked, the 2nd time it reported write errors. if anyone is having similar issues pls advise

What are the errors encountered?

hd errors

it wasn't specific just said it was write errors, bad blocks

I would test the drives showing errors with Drive Fitness Test
T61p 6460-67G; 15,4 WSXGA+ W7P x64, no hairdryer.
T43p 2668-G2G, 14,1 SXGA+, XP Pro, internal hairdryer
T23 2647-9LG, 14,1 SXGA+, XP Pro, no hairdryer
