Rescue & Recovery vs. Windows System Restore

#1 Post by yiplong » Tue Feb 05, 2008 8:21 pm

once we have Rescue and Recovery installed, is there any point in keeping Microsoft's System Restore active? Which system is better?

They do different things. R&R is for backups. System Restore keeps live snapshots of drivers to take care of bad installs, viruses, etc. It also allows booting from the last known good configuration.
