Is there BSA alternative?

I have R60 shipped on 06-2006 with RnR 3.01 preinstalled, and i would like to use Base Software Administrator because I don't need (and don't like) preloaded software. BSA v1.1 on my system can be run, but can't make manifest file (can the personalisation file), and BSA v1.0 runs and makes manifest files (but i didn't deployed it, 'couse i ran into post that said that results are "not good"). Did anyone tried to use BSA with older systems? Any suggestions other than "Add or Remove Programs"? Or even can OS and drivers only, be extracted from RnR discs?
