I ran the recovery Cds to do a fresh install and at the end of disk 7 when the computer asked me to restart it started back up in that grey screen with the recovery menu stuff. I could not get anything but this recovery menu to come up after several restarts. How do I get it to launch into normal windows after the install procedure?
This process takes so long I don't want to do it wrong again.
Thanks
Joe
recovery CD problem
I had a similar problem with my machine, seems a little baffling but you just need to follow the onscreen instructions. It may seem as if the process is looping, but just follow the links.
You're just at the final steps, just follow the last bit and a final restart then you have XP.
There was a thread I used on here for guidance on the same issue, if I can get it il post it.
