The bottom left hand corner of my screen goes pink!

When I open the lid of my T41 the bottom left hand corner of my screen is a slightly dull pink colour which gradually returns to normal. This is a new thing, it hasn't been doing this for the past three and a half years that I've had it. What does it mean? Is the screen on the way out? Or is it just a bit embarrassed?

The CCFL (backlight) needs to be replaced. Seek out a member here jamiphar, who does a good job of CCFL replacement at a reasonable cost.
