x61 with 0x0000005x Problem. Could this be caused by 7K200?
I have upgrade my X61 to Hitachi 7K200. I'm having problem with 0x0000005 memory access violation on various application e.g. explorer.exe, microsoft word 2003, CIV4 and many other software and sometime BSOD. All errors show 0xc0000005 code which can be anything from hardwares to drivers.
This is what I have tried:
1) Update my X61 to latest drivers from Lenovo including BIOS, still have the same problem.
2) Install 0xc0000005 race condition patch from microsoft. No help, still have the same problem.
3) Tried new Corsair Ram Module, still have the same error.
4) Tried moving RAM to different slot, still have the same error.
At this stage, I have called IBM Thailand and they decide to send me new motherboard (which takes at least 10 days to order in Thailand).
In the mean time, I have tried switching my harddisk from the upgraded Hitachi 7K200 to the original Seagate that came with my X61 by using Acronis 11.
Since switching back to the original Seagate harddisk. I haven't got any problem with my X61 (2 days already), so my question is that
Are there any incompatablity problem between X61 and Hitachi 7K200? Or the harddisk is defected? I doubt that could be software or motherboard problem since the machine is running fine now.
Please help!! Thank you in advance for all response.
BTW, I have tested my Hitachi 7K200 using utility for testing harddisk in BIOS and PC Doctor and couldn't find any problem. No bad sector found. Could it be the problem with memory buffer in harddisk? How can I test that?

Thank you for your response. What do you mean by seting ACPI in BIOS instead of SATA. I would be grateful if you can elaborate on this issue.
I'm currently using XP SP2 with lenovo drivers. I'm currently using "Compatible Mode" setting in BIOS and have not installed Intel Driver for SATA.
I read from other thread that there is no different in performance regarding choosing ACPI or COMPATIBLE mode. So I choose compatible mode instead, since it does not require SATA driver. Could this be the cause of problem?
Thank you again for your help. I'm looking forward to hearing all responses

Nope. Error comes out when normally using program. The problem disappear when change harddisk. So I guest the harddisk might me the cause of the problem. Strange thing is that no diag software show any error on harddisk at all.

Addition info.
I have tried to restore factory setting using Lenovo XP Recover CD on 7K200. When booting to R&R disc and choose restore factory setting. After the disc install 1st recovery cd and getting ready to reboot, I've got an MS VB debug error (for Win PE). I continued to reboot and complete restoring it. So I really dont' know what the problem was. Hardware or Software?
