I was replacing the keyboard bezel on my X41t and during the removal process the spring for the pcmcia door came off. I dont need it because im throwing it away, but what is worrying me is that I cannot find the [censored] thing. I have a feeling it still might be in the computer somewhere; on the motherboard for example.
I shaked the computer and used compressed air to remove it if it was still in there, before reassembly, but I dont think I saw anything.
So question, if that tiny spring is still in the computer could it do harm to the motherboard or other electrical circuits?
Lost spring!

I am now 100% sure its not in the machine. I just did a complete disassembly and used half a can of compressed air; nothing.
It must have flown out on the floor.
