A20P ?

#1 Post by JimmyD » Sat Feb 09, 2008 12:00 pm

Ihave an A20-P with xp-pro, in device mgr. it show's a prob. with "Other Device's". Can't tell what device ! Machine run's nice but have annoying beep's ( serie's of 4) at start-up ! It also goes thru the ram count etc. on start-up.
How can I determine what the "Other Devices" is ? Appreciate a reply, Jim D.

As for RAM count, go into BIOS, select "startup" and switch from "Diagnostics" to "Quick" under boot mode.

What devices are inoperable? Try figuring that out...

4 beeps on bootup sounds like a mobo problem...
