I am having problem with recording sounds using the microphone.
I get a LOT of background noise and my voice recording sounds all broken up. I am not sure what might be causing this. I tried to use a headset that has a microphone and using the microphone jack to record and the result is the same.
I installed the latest sound card driver as well and it is not helping.
Has anyone had similar problem?
Thanks.

daeojkim,
I use my 2373-3uu for recording language data for linguistic research and find the quality of the built-in mic to be quite useable. I did find, however, that without the "noise reduction" enabled in the SoundMAX utility it was useless! [SoundMAX was preloaded on my machine--hope it is on yours too
] Good luck,
Paul
