Pressure marks on tablet.

I bought this X41 with two pressure/smudge marks. I do not know how this happened, but my guess is from hand pressure on the screen in tablet mode.

The machine is still under warranty, so is this something Lenovo would fix or not?

In regards to the pressure marks, would that be an issue with the LCD itself, digitizer or both?

No this is something warranty doesn't cover.

Well.....

I had the pressure marks replaced on my x40 under warranty, and I believe underclocker did as well. Honestly, it probably depends on the rep you get on the phone and how convincing you are.

I sent in two X40s with pressure marks and they were both denied under standard warranty coverage. I don't know if it is covered under the accidental damage warranty. The strange thing is that both screens have the pressure marks in the exact same locations, although one screen is barely noticeable.
