Desktop looses layout (mini docking station)

Hi,

I have a problem whereby the desktop icons loose their positions and generally end up grouped in the top lhs of the screen.

I dont know what causes this but I suspect it may be something to do with using a minidoc.

I currently only have one screen resolution set.

How can I stop this happening?

If not is there a way of saving my desktop layout?

I had a similar issue with the dock since my T61 is widescreen and mt dock monitor is not. I found several free programs on the internet that save the icons position and can restore them when needed. A quick search should find several programs.
