T40 Access IBM

My T40 Access IBM (aibm.exe) application is not functioning. Pressing the button opens the application. I am able to get system information when I right click on the top bar of the Access IBM opening screen which leads to believe that application is not totally DOA. From current postings it seems that a newer version of Adobe Flash may have disabled the Access IBM toolbar and search feature. Does any one know of a workaround for this issue?

I have the same problem. I can only watch the intro and then everything stops. There is only not accesible menu. Anyone any ideas?

Hi,

Got the same problem ! As I hit the "Access IBM" key the menu pops up but the access is only possible with the tab key.
The key is not working at all when the system reboots, no access to the menu.
I want to restore all the factory settings how can I do ? (The Predesktop Area is still there).
This trouble may come from the bios upgrade to 3.23 as it used to work in the past.

Anybody has an idea to fix it or can give me the process the restore the factory settings without using the "Access IBM" key ?

I think there are 3 key parts to the access ibm functionality - hot key driver, system config utility, and the access program itself.
Have you tried downloading the latest versions and reinstalling them?

I have tried, doesn't work !

Here are additional informations about what happens.
When I hit the "Access IBM" key at start I got the following messages :
Starting PC DOS ...
Failed to open MGR.DAT
Rebooting...

Then the PC starts on a regular mode.

How can I reset the PC to the Factory Settings without getting through the menu ?
