DVD/CD Cover To Fill Gap-Space In Place Of DVD/CD ROM

Hi,

I read somewhere in these posts that there is a DVD/CD Rom cover that you can purchase that takes the place of the actual DVD/CD Rom. It is a space filler made of plastic like the Thinkpad.

You use it to fill in the space of the removed DVD/CD Rom. You use it mostly to reduce the weight of the notebook and when you don't need the DVD/CD Rom.

I was wonder if someone knows where I can find this item; and possibly the FBU number or another part number that I can go to Lenovo website to purchase it!

I try the website but could not locate the item. Don't even know what the actual name of it is! Maybe that is why I could not find; - don't know what it is called.

Oh! How much does it cost?

It's called "Travel bezel/cover". The part number for your thinkpad Z61t is : 13N5108. From IBM UK, it will cost you £3.38 excluding taxes and shipping.

You really know your parts! The part number you gave me is for the Z60t but the Z61t is 13N5108. Lenovo calls it "Travel Case".
