Have two X30's on a Router, both registered once.
The DHCP.... message tells me the boot order is confused.
But is it me who is confused?
More worried about my mind now!
The story so far:
Have already 6 dud drives (Travelstars, and a few Hitachi inc.).
Have since learned the lesson: don't interchange drives!
But, I "imagined" I was safe (during 30 day trial period) to practice a few installations (having only 1x4 gb Fujitsu and 1x 40 gb Toshiba). Being a pensioner I cannot afford killing HD's.
Scanning the web I read, "all I have to do is", change the boot order using F1 on boot.
First I could not find the appropriate command (on F1) and second, if I change something, what happens to my normally excellent LAN? Until now the boot order seemed fine, what changed?
I don't trust "suck it and see", and would rather know.
Configuration:
Thinkpad X30 PIII: CPU - M 1066MHz 722MHz, 376MB of RAM.
OS: - Windows XP: 2002
Apps: XPlite, DUupdate, Javacool MRU and SpywareBlaster, AVG/SPF, SpybotSD, Ad-Aware. Firefox/Thunderbird.
Apologies to the younger members. Oops, just remembered I don't have a signature yet.
