How to disable forward and back buttons near arrow keys

#1 Post by novasource » Mon Feb 11, 2008 6:21 pm

To the left and right of my up arrow key are two keys that appear to work like browser forward and back buttons.

I would like to disable these. I've had a few occasions where I was typing something into a browser form and lost all my data because I inadvertently pressed these buttons.

It's worst when I am typing into one of those Javascript-rich semi-WYSIWYG forms like FCKEditor; when I return, all my data is lost.

How do I disable these two buttons?

Dug this out of the archives:

Maybe that might help?

Thanks! I had previously dug around the Keyboard Customizer Utility but never found a solution. Who would have thought the Key Sensitivity tab would have the answer!

Thanks for this thread. I too have just lost input into a form because I hit the browser back button by accident. I checked the Keyboard Customizer Utility, and didn't think there'd be anything in the Key Sensitivity tab so I didn't look there. Glad I found this thread!
