Buying a T42 in Canada?

Hi!

to all canadian T42 owners, where did you get your Thinkpad? I'm thinking of buying from Bill or E-Cost.com.. but what are my other solutions? I do not entirely trust Ebay but may give it a shot if theres a good deal. IBM CANADA? No way! Their prices are way too high, and there's only a 6-9% education discount on non-express models at my university...

I bought mine from ibm canada...under their clearance section. It was a really good deal. But they don't seem to have much there right now.

If I had to buy again and can't find any good deals in canada..I would try to go with Bill.

I'd probably give Bill a try, also.

Plus, with the Canadian dollar being so high compared to the U.S. dollar, you'd end up saving a nice chunk of money if you bought from the U.S.
