this not helping,
after removing battery, and pluging them back laptop starts only once after pushing power button, then he power off, and no reaction at all on power button

laptop has gone to hw service.
however for anyone intrested:
ever try attach TX36D98VC1CAB or compatible to your thinkpad, it will fry motherboard or just lcd controller chip (dude from service confirmed this to me), that's my lesson for this time
serious question, does LTN141P2-L02 will work with thinkpad?
anyone tried? results?

I had the impression that this question was already asked in your other thread: T40 lcd replacement - was the answer posted there perhaps incorrect?? If indeed so, you ought to update that thread, I suggest. Check the last post in the thread T4x LCD replacement issue - did user Msmax get this to work?rook wrote:serious question, does LTN141P2-L02 will work with thinkpad? anyone tried? results?
The following advertisement: Samsung LTN141P4-L02 14.1 Inch Laptop LCD Screen SXGA+ 1400X1050 seems to indicate that the answer to your question is "yes"...

The only thing that would change is the resolution. It either wouldn't send data to the screen or it would run at 1024.cmarti wrote:I think he didn't use the SXGA+ cable, that may be the reason he killed the mobo.
