X24 Opera 9.25 problem with youtube

#1 Post by Paul88 » Fri Feb 15, 2008 9:23 pm

Hi all,

I'm running X24 (PIII 1.06, Ram 640, HD 80 gb (5400)) on XP SP2, with opera 9.25. I have problem with youtube that when I maximize the video, the video won't play but audio is ok.
The video play fine if I don't maximize to fullscreen.

I try to find solution for this problem in many forum but couldn't find the right one. Almost of the time, people have problems that video won't play at all. I don't have that problem. I try to update flash player and java but didn't help. So if somebody can enlight me I certainly do appreciate.

Thanks,

Paul

looks like a video driver issue to me. How about windows media player, does it do fullscreen? Try to find other places, where things are resized on screen... And try some other video driver - older, newer...

Or if it is opera only, try other browser. Opera is a pain in the [censored] if you develop something for ff/ie primarily.

Thanks weepy, I can watch the movie fullscreen with media player classic. So sounds like video driver is working fine for me.
I have tried to change to Firefox but the same problem occur.
The video won't play if I choose fulscreen function.

I don't know what should I do but thanks anyway.

Definitely sounds like a Flash player issue... Which version do you have installed?
