Fuse location in T60 motherboard

#1 Post by thaniks » Sun Feb 17, 2008 8:54 am

My thinkpad suddenly lost the power and there is no indication of the power light when the power adapter is inserted. I verified that the adapter is good. I called support and I did a power cycle per their instruction, but that didn't help.

I believe that the fuse had blown out, but couldn't identify the location. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

As many T6x ThinkPads are still under warranty those in the know don't know yet because there have not been any to disect since they are all taken care of under warranty.

I would call support back. Send in your ThinkPad for repair.
