Unable to lock Ultrabase

I have a new X61 with Ultrabase. I am unable to turn the key all the way to the locked position, thus not being able to remove it when locked. It appears that all the connections are working when docked, just can't turn the turn the key all the way to the locked position. I have tried pushing down frimly at the rear to try to seat it better, but I am afraid I might break something if I push to hard. Is there a trick to this? Anyone else experieince this?

Thanks for the link, but the problem is that even if I do it exactly as described, I can't turn the key all the way to the locked position. Obviously I don't want to force it. I'm wondering if anyone is able to easily lock the ultrabase.

is the front of your X61 clipped into the ultrabase properly?

Yes, it appears that there is only one way it will fit.

Did you pull the power cable out of the X61 before docking it?
