Please help! Rescue/Recovery Missing Restore to Factory.....

My T61 has too much junk and things not working properly.
I want to reinstall windows with a full format.

I went into R&R by clicking the blue thinkvantage button during the startup. The problem is that the "restore to factory...." is missing. I looked on my Z61t, and it is there, so I know I am looking in the right place.

I called lenovo, and I got someone that spoke with an extremely heavy accent, and she didn't know what to do. So she is sending me a recovery CD. I have a feeling that is not what I need.

Does anyone know what to do with this? How to make it work.

Also, I remeber when I bought the T61, I downloaded some file from lenovo that allowed me to select which applications were installed so that I would not have to uninstall all of lenovos junkware.
Could this be the cause of it?

Also, once I finally get this working, I want to use it again.

from Lenovo will do a factory restore. The other thing you can do is to reload Rescue and Recovery (uninstall, then reinstall it again) to see if you regain the option to do the factory restore. BTW, you did not somehow delete your SERVICE001 partition somehow, did you? If you did, don't worry - the Lenovo recovery CDs will recreate that for you as well.

I spoke with lenovo again, and the guy told me to download the newest R&R and that did the trick.
So you got it right.
