Need Some Help with Z60t

How are you my friends , I'm a new user here and i have ThinkPad Z60t , and i have two poblems :

1- Battery :
My battery from 3 weeks ago start flashing an orang warning and an error occured tell me that " the battery don't charge and replace the battery " , the battery was working , i don't know what happend , i'm now working on tha AC power supply all the time , please i need any help about this .

2- Hard Disk :
My hard disk is ok , But the problem with the recovery partition of the system which is the last 5 Gigabytes located at the end of the drive used to the system restore , after installation and uninstallation of a linux system it show me that this drive is unlocated , how can i repair this problem .

1. Check whether your battery was a part of one of the two Battery recalls from lenovo, if not then reset the battery, you can find that option under Power Manager.

If nothing works and if you're still under 1-year warranty then contact IBM for a replacement.

2. If the partition is intact, healthy and not damaged then you can repair it:

Rescue and Recovery - Recovery repair diskette.

You would require a floppy disk drive for this.
