**SOLD**: 14" T40/41/42 Keyboard

#1 Post by Harryc » Mon Feb 18, 2008 9:31 pm

Used keyboard from a 14" T42. Keys have shine. All letters are visible, just the bottom leg of the 'E' key is partially worn. Remaining keys are bright and fully legible. (English Language). It will fit any 14" T4X machine. Fully tested, works 100%.

$12 shipped - continental US and Canada. non-CC Paypal preferred.

Is this for a 14.1" or 15"?

It will fit both 14" and 15" T4X machines. It came out of a 14" T42.

According to the thread:
R50 keyboard into a T42 or T43? underclocker in his post of Wed Jan 02, 2008 8:57 am wrote: I can also confirm that 14" T4x and R5x keyboards are swappable, as are 15" T4x and R5x keyboards.

You can not swap between 14" and 15" models of either type. They have different screw/bolt patterns and quantities.
So... 14.1" (R5x/T4x) keyboards are only for 14.1" ThinkPads, and 15" (R5x/T4x) keyboards are only for 15" ThinkPads.

Best regards,

Johan
