XP Pro doesn't save passwords

Got my new T61 today with XP Pro, I have all settings correct(I think) but it will not ssave any passwords. Any suggestion?

Not sure how you're intending to save passwords (through Client Security Password Manager or online passwords in a browser or in general all passwords in Windows XP), if in a browser then see if the following solution helps you:

Internet Explorer on Windows XP doesn't save password.

Otherwise it would be more helpful for anyone to assist you if you explain your intentions a little better.

You should also try to update Windows XP on your new thinkpad with new available fixes from Microsoft via Windows update.
