Port Replicator DVI ?

Probably a silly question:

I will buy LCD monitor soon. Analog and TFT doesnt look so good. I would like digital. Do I need to buy port replicator, if I want to use DVI on the TFT monitor with my thinkpad? Do I need anything else (I know I need DVI cable).

port replicator, mini-dock-II or dock-II..
thats all you need besides a DVI TFT display..
