USB disconnects at will

#1 Post by MeCasa » Sun Feb 24, 2008 2:27 pm

This is MAJOR league annoying. I use USB enclosures to store data including my massive music collection which I then run into a big Yam and circulate throughout the house. I haven't had problems for years and recently my drive stops talking to my comp at will (music stops)

I have various drives and enclosures and I've moved everything around 6 times, maybe 7,. Yet the drive still loses contact, it has to be this laptop.

Any ideas?

Does it happen on all of the USB ports on the T60?

Apparently there is an intermittent power problem with one of the USB ports on some T60's. I forget which port.
