X300 hardware maintenance manual now available

#1 Post by erik » Tue Feb 26, 2008 9:35 am

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-69207

a few noteworthy points:
- the LCD panel is manufactured by TMD
- all keyboards are manufactured by NMB
- all units include a full antenna array, making future additions easy (UWB, WWAN, etc.)

good stuff. :)

Are stuff like keyboard still user replaceable? One of the early notes claimed they would not be. . .

page 72 of the HMM shows the keyboard being replaceable quite easily.
