An "exploded" view of the z61m?

#1 Post by LasseFJ » Wed Feb 27, 2008 6:05 am

Hi, i just read this article about the new X300 - http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/co ... 350389.htm

the article has this "exploded" picture of it - http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/co ... 352896.htm

And now i would really really like to see that kind of picture of a Z61m!!

Nowhere near as pretty or colourful as those ones, but the Hardware Maintenance Manuals (available on the Lenovo support web site) have detailed line-art exploded diagrams of all major assemblies.

e.g. web parts index (the line-art in the PDF files is much nicer quality)
MacBook Pro Retina 13.3 2560x1600 | i5-4258U | 8GB | 256GB SSD | BT+abgnac
Surface Pro 3 12.0 2160x1440 | i5-4300U | 8GB | 256GB SSD | BT+abgnac

thank you very much :D

by the way - does anyone have a better way for cleaning the little holes which cover the speakers, than using a needle and a vacum cleaner?

Dry toothbrush, maybe? The holes on my Z60m aren't dirty enough to warrant trying it on mine, but it might be worth a try.

Well I have taken my z61m open a little bit, to gain access to minipci-e card.
