LF Ultrabay Slim IDE 2nd HDD Adapter

Ordered off of Lenovo over 2 weeks ago, they sent a shipping confirmation showing that the SATA tray had been sent, and not the IDE one I had ordered. Called Lenovo. No help, and I don't want to be embroiled in their 15% restock BS for a $40 part.

Unit is being shipped from China, (?!) it will take another week before it gets here.

Can trade 1:1, or let me know how much you want. I am looking for an original OEM part, not a cheap knockoff.

I believe the part you are looking for is ThinkPad 2nd Hard Drive Adapter for Ultrabay Slim which has ASM 62P4554 or FRU 62P4553 according to Hard drive options - ThinkPad T40, T40p, T41, T41p, T42, T42p.

I just checked the price on this (IDE/ATA) part here in Denmark (as an original IBM part) and it is USD 26,- (ex. VAT). There are lots of these parts on eBay, e.g. this one which shows an IBM branded product, and IBM manual, an IBM shipping box, but where you nevertheless read towards the end of the listing: "This is not original product, but it has 100% original/genuine quality. Anybody saying Chinese copy?! Note that a small protective bag is delivered together with this drive (if delived by IBM); see here.

PS: If you happen to come across two such (genuine IBM and either new or MINT) 62P4553 or 62P4554 I'd be happy to take one off your hands!
