I need advice on external monitors. I am switching to an external monitor for my T40 237314G, but I'm hesitating about what to buy. I've seen lots of monitors in the 17" - 19" range, but most of them seem too advanced for my system, requiring more recent graphics cards. I am only running 32Mb ATI Radeon 7500 max res 1024 x 768.

Can anyone suggest something decent ? I'm no gamer, don't watch DVDs or TV on it. It's really just a work machine. Thanks.

Most monitors in that range other than the wide ones are 1280x1024 resolution. You T40 can drive this resolution no problem.

Hey thanks. I've been looking at Dell monitors, I'll include those with 1280x1024 res.
