Custom restoration win xp x40 possible?
I have the restore cd's but obviously I don't get any way to do the custom restoration (where you pick what you want installed). I then downloaded the 4.2 rescue and recovery, where it says I will get the option, but I don't. Anyone who got any recommendations on what to do?
Thanks
Thanks

Uninstall the previous version of Rescue and Recovery 4.x.
Download the 1-4 packages (from the link) in a folder, name it New Folder, during the installation of main package, file #3 will be installed.
An alternative method is when you install Rescue and Recovery 4.2 (standalone version), the package tells you to discard previous media and to create new recovery disks, after doing so, format your entire HDD (before backing up your data 1st) and use those new recovery disks, after installing and updating everything in Windows through lenovo System Update, go to pre-desktop area and try to restore again, it should present you with a custom restore option.
Let me know how it goes.

"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."

Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.
