My R51e lose Recovery function after factory recovery

Hi,

Anyone know why I lose Recovery function in ThinkVantage Productivity aftery factory recovery? :cry: I tried to update Thinkpad system online. But the Recovery function still not appear when I press Access IBM.

Now, I want to set backup point of current windows condition. Anyone can help me?

What kind of recovery function was it? Please explain more.

From what I understand, I suggest you install the latest version of Rescue and Recovery.

If no help then give the following solution a try:

How to reenable the F11 function (Product Recovery Program).

Or if you've a floppy drive then install the following instead:

Rescue and Recovery - Recovery repair diskette.

Hello cyjoe,
I've an R51e that did a similar number to yours. I ended up calling lenovo support for help, and the solution was to press the F11 key on reboot, which puts you back into the restore screen etc. :)
