T40 and radio interferences!!

Hi,

I can't find a solution for this problem

my T40 connected to the main charger generate A LOT of radio interferences, on any FM radio in my house and also on my HF radio shack (0-30 MHz, on all bands!!!!)

I fitted a lot of toroids on any charger cable, also I tried shielding it with aluminium foil, but there's no improvement at all!

Have you tried a different FRU number AC adapter? There are three sources including Aztec, Delta etc.

If that still doesn't help, try a full dock, they use a different type of switching PS internal to the dock.

If nothing works, try a linear power supply, those that use a transformer. 16V may be hard to find but you can use a DC regulator from a 24V source or a variable transformer.
