based on a photo with several other laptops (2 thinkpads and one macbook pro), no..

the T60p had the best in bright light display..

the X300 display is about the same as my X60s..
stress is on about because this was not scientific but rather subjective observation of photographic results..

Isn't that a bit strange? Because X300 is supposed to have 300 nits, whereas X60s that I owned only had about 180 nits. I really hope x300 is brighter. Would be nice if it were as bright as Sony Vaio. My mum's 4 year old Vaio is noticeably brighter than my X61 Tablet, so i guess X300 should also be brighter than X61 T.
It might however be a bit of "personal preference", because I found my T60p to be dimmer than the Tablet, whereas you find it "the brightest".
