For me it happens when I put the machine to sleep when using one network connection and then waking the machine up when that connection is not available. So putting it to sleep at work with the network cable plugged in will give me the BSOD at home. Putting it to sleep at home while connected to the WiFi will give me a BSOD if I go to work and wake the machine after having plugged in the network cable.
I was recently in China and confirmed with some folks from a partner company that they are experiencing the same behavour.
BSOD when waking machine w/o previous network connection
