Neat idea, but it would need a trackpoint in the middle for me to use it.

That's a good place form me to hide my Smarties and Mars bars from the wife. She would never think of looking there.

Fish, chips, mushy peas and gravy might be a little harder to hide, though. I'd need a deeper keyboard, I suspect.

Well, it all goes back to the original design concept for the Thinkpad... the Japanese bento box. It's basically a hard plastic lunchbox.
