A30 14.1" LCD screen compatibility?

Hi all

My nephew has an A30 with a cracked 14.1" LCD screen. Replacement FRU's are 05K9944, 46L2348, and 11P8309.

Ebay had many, from other 14.1" models. Are all of these compatible with any 14.1" Thinkpad? What other models will fit an A30?

Welcome to the forum!

No other LCDs will fit apart from A3x, but PM Harryc who has a complete lid from an A31 with an integrated wireless, really cheap in the Marketplace.

Harry is one of the forum Moderators, a trusted seller here, and won't charge you an arm and a leg, along with the fact that he'll have no problem shipping it to Canada.

Thanks for the info. Upon further investigation, via actual part/model# and the well suported IBM site, I was able to determine that the screen is actually a 15 inch model (good thing I double checked). Computer is about 1300 miles away from me and I was told it had the standard 14" screen.
