Difference between x6 ultrabase and x6 tablet ultrabase???

Hi just wondering what's the difference between x6 ultrabase and x6 tablet ultrabase.
I had been under the impression that there was only an x6 ultrabase for both x6* and x6* tablet until I read today an article about thinkpad 6 series docking solutions.
I thought Lenovo was smart enough this time to come up with a single docking solution for both x6* and x6* tablet.

both are very different. i have both of them X61s and x61t ultrabase. The dvd slot is in different place,. the battery location has a slight dip on the x61s base and both will not work with each other

The architecture of both X6x and X6xt series is quite different especially the mass of the fan on tablets and since good design and engineering is all about compromise so that's one reason why the Ultrabases are distinctively made.
