WTB: 600E or 600X base

#1 Post by tony6264 » Sun Mar 09, 2008 4:39 pm

I am looking to replace the base on a 600X that I have been working on for a friend...I think it has moved on to greener patures and I am looking for a cheap replacement...All I need is the actual base with keyboard in working condition.....I have all the drives and ram and even have the LCD ....I can use a 600X or 600E.....the one it is replacing was a 400 mhz.

I have a working keyboard, but the bases I have are all base 600's with 300mhz tops. Let me know if you want the keyboard.

I'm not 100% sure that a regular 600 keyboard will work with a 600X....also dont know for sure that the keyboard is the issue.

Keyboard is the same, no problem using it on any 600 series.

OK...well first question is ...how much do you want for it?
second is...what chance do you think it will fix my problem?
It keeps wanting time and date reset...even though they are correct...and I am getting error 8611...bad mouse...but the laptop was working fine before the sub board problem with an external mouse.....I guess what I am asking is...do really think that a bad keyboard would prevent it from booting?
