While researching a replacement LCD for my newly aquired R40, I see that they carry a "-xxx" that varies. Is this an indicator for what manufacturer it was made for?
As in:
L01=IBM
L02=Dell
L03=HP
Yadda...yadda....yadda.
Are these interchangeable to anyones knowledge? What I have is LTN141XF-L01.
Samsung LCD question. What's the last 3 digits stand for?

THANKS Ray. I saw the lcd4less website but hadn't looked at their FAQ. Speaking of which, it looks like one website copied the others FAQ almost word-for-word.
I hate to make an assumption, but it looks like if the base numbers are the same it should interchange. I have a spare one at work and am keeping my fingers crossed it's the same base number. It's out of a T20 and I've seen references that state it "can" work. Obviously if it's a different base number, I'll start lurking in eBay.
Hmmmmm....is my next post a feather?????
