An HP Laserjet 6MP+Jetdirect box from the 1990's, connected to a wireless router.

Reliable, compatible stuff that just keeps on working.

Ok, this isn't really "tech," but since you guys posted tools;

1947 ShopSmith. It is the old one, that shipped out in a box, and you had to build a table to put it on, or buy the legs, and make the top. It had a 1/2 HP exposed motor, with exposed belts. (It still has the exposed belt, but the motor is now a 1.5 HP DC motor, with a controller running it.

It is somewhat a FrankenSmith (think FrankenPad) since I got a headrest off of a newer model, so I could mount later model tools, like my bandsaw that cost $50.00

If you know what the newer ShopSmiths look like, this one is similar, except there is a LOT more cast iron in this one. (That is obvious, when you stand it up in drill-press mode! Instant hernia!)

It does all the ShopSmith stuff;
Table saw.
Drill-press.
Hz boring machine.
disc and drum sander.
Lathe.

Also, band saw, jigsaw, mortiser, and overhead router.
