Proactive Notification - re: large lot being offered up

Yes, I see it! Been watching it since about three hours after it was listed. Submitted a couple of questions but I don't know if I'm going to make any serious offer on it yet...

Holy Carumba! Wow - Good Luck! I'll sit on the sidelines and watch this one. Should be good for a giggle or two especially if you miss it by less than a buck.......lol. (Just kidding) The second one is a beauty but that's a ton of parts to make em whole again although I'm almost certain you have enough to cover more than half already....... The tiny one is pretty high, have a hard time getting them out the door with a profit.

They went for $561.09 + 50.- shipping = 611.09 or $29.09 a piece.
Not too shabby if you ask me.
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)

Before I signed into eBay this morning I made a guess that it would close at $560, but that was including the $50 shipping, so I was kinda off. I never got an answer to my questions about the systems (type number, physical shape, etc) so for all I know is that all 21 LCDs are cracked. I was prepared to go to $450 (shipped), which if half were in decent shape, would mean $45 each.

Ray, I know you probably want to put the Topic to bed but I'd like to say that I don't blame you for not jumping on that 21 count lot. If they didn't take the time to answer your valid questions then what else would they not take the time on? I'd error on the side of practical judgment this time.... it's not cheap to learn you've been bamboozled. To be honest I think that is why in my estimation that they didn't go higher, something wasn't quite right in my mind, maybe it was because of the lack of specifics....? I didn't feel the mojo on that one.
I worked out the figure like RBS too and it still didn't feel like a solid good deal.

(I was probably more eager to find out what shape they where in though.....now, I'll never know. ) :??:

Same here. Though I'm interested enough to contact the buyer in a couple of weeks and ask what they were and how they were.

Sounds like a good plan, maybe they will be willing to off-load a few while they have you at the front door eh?

Your probably right! The purchaser will probably tell you that they have ATI Radeon 9000 video chips, USB 2 ports, and AirPort Extreme WiFi PCMCIA cards too.

Maybe it was the former Governor of a state that shall remain autonomous that purchased them? Probably a shill for the Senator. Seems like a probability!

My sides are in pain....
