Intel Turbo Memory under Win-XP Prof.

Hey Guys,

I bought an X61s today and I'd like to know if I will buy a 1GB Turbo Memory into this machine it will be works on Win XP or not...

No working, no drivers available for W'XP, Linux, others. It is designed just to use the Vista's Ready Boost and Ready Drive features, and its performance is still under open discussion.

Yes one of the perks for vista is the turbo memory, Aero interface (I like it) Animated backgrounds, and Disk re-partitioning tool.

Negs are signed drivers and DRM :(

Turbomemory is only for Vista

There is a driver for XP which you can install to get rid of the yellow question mark on devices list. Though it won't do anything. It's a dummy driver.



I use Vista with turbomemory, but I don't think it helps any at all. I have 3GB RAM.
