Trackpoint doesn't work anymore...T60 2623-D7U

#1 Post by Ezrem » Wed Mar 12, 2008 8:31 pm

I installed 10.5.1 Kalyway and then the 10.5.2 Kalyway update.

Ran various things to get various pieces working - wireless, audio, etc, everything all works great, I don't even get much of any video tearing to speak of.

When I boot up, the trackpoint works until Leopard finishes loading...then it stops working. Like once the dock and the menu bar have loaded completely, right as it would begin to load apps that start on login, it dies. I can be moving the mouse around and then...nothing.

Has anyone experienced this? Does anyone know how to fix it?

I had the same problem after enabling "clicking" under the trackpad settings.

I deselected the option rebooted to get the track point working again.

Mine (T60P) is a base Kalyway 10.5.1 with only the ATI changes.
