512 mb Nvidia FX 570 ???

I have T61P 6459CTO 15.4'' wide.

I ordered 256mb graphics board Nvidia but when I checked the properties under windows xp, it shows that I have 512mb. Not that I'm complaining, but I'm wondering what is going on. Is this just a driver thing or do I physically have 512mb video ram?

4 gig system ram, 2.5ghz penryn, 200gb seagate HD 7200rpm.

the other 256 is virtual (shared) RAM from your system RAM.
