FS: Nintendo DS lite anyone?

#1 Post by Jan_Hoho » Fri Mar 14, 2008 2:20 am

Since this marketplace is not Thinkpads only...would anyone like to buy a Nintendo DS lite Crimson Red/Black?

Is your son's /daughter's/wife's birthday coming up? Do you hate your commute? Long flights a bore? Well, I'm offering this very nice gaming system. The reason I am selling it is that all the cute-cute games are just not right for me.

Comes with the following:
  • DS in excellent shape. I played maybe 50 hours. Battery holds a long time, no major scratches or anything. Comes with adapter, of course (careful: works only in the US!)

R4 DS for unlimited....well, I bought it to have access to an unlimited number of homebrew sudoku games, but criminal souls could use it to play downloaded software with.

1 GByte Micro SD card, USB card reader for the R4.

A ridiculously cheap looking carrying case. However, the ugly thing does its job and protects the DS, I guess. Here is a link to a picture of the set I bought. http://crave.cnet.com/i/bto/20070808/ds ... rimson.jpg

    4 games:
    Brain Age 2
    Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney
    Super Mario Bros.
    Zelda - Phantom Hourglass
I guess I'm looking for something around $180 OBO (+ actual shipping) for the whole package. Reasoning is 100 for the system + 40 for the R4 and stuff + 40 for the games. If you think this is unreasonable please let me know. I don't know the market.

****IMPORTANT***

I will not sell or ship before the second week of April as I'll be travelling for conferences. But I'll be glad to reserve the DS for you until I'm back. The reason I am posting this now is that I don't expect a million people jumping at it (this being a TP forum). If you want to jump now, please be welcome to do so. :D

I don't ship outside of the US for the simple reason that the [censored] charger doesn't work with, say 230V as outlets provide in EU. Save yourself the trouble and get one in your country.

The games are in their boxes and have their manuals. As for the DS, I will see what I find. There might even be warranty on the thing (bought in August) but I never bothered to register with Nintendo, so I don't know.

Oh yes, I love trading locally.
